1: Diddy x Dixie

My OTP ever since I was like five. I loved playing Donkey Kong Country 2 and these two have been my favorite couple throughout my life and I guarantee you nothing will top it. I really wish you could play them both in co-op in Tropical Freeze, but hopefully the next one will allow it. 

2: Link x Tetra (TeLink)

For the record, I do prefer shipping Pirate!Tetra over Zelda!Tetra. Adorakable-boy / Tsundere-girl make up quite a bit of this list. I definitely love how Beedle teases Link over this ship.

3: Brendan x May (Hoennshipping)

If you’ve read all my Pokémon memes, surely you know by know I love Hoenn and I especially love Hoennshipping. I played Sapphire through Brendan so May was the first helpful rival in the series and then of course we have the remake in ORAS and it’s so much better. “We started our journey here, let’s end it here”. And of course the cutscene at the space center. They also had cute moments in the 2 minute promo short too. I wish you could’ve brought them into the HOF with them. If I could control Brendan I would’ve pushed Steven into the water at the Hall of Fame place and brought May instead.

4: Luigi x Daisy

Something about this I just have a lot more appreciation for over MarioxPeach (I love that one too for the record, but this is my OTP). I just think they look more adorable together and maybe them being a little bit more less focused has something to do with it that it’s more appreciable whenever it is given a small wink to the fans with. I love pairing them up when applicable in sports games and party games. We still need a Daisy amiibo. >_< 

5: Pit x Viridi (Piridi)

I didn’t want to steal fanart and there isn’t really clean footage of them in-game so sorry this was the best I could get displaying their relationship. Definitely love the tattoo Pit gets when Viridi is put in charge and how Viridi acts like a total tsundere. We know you love him, Viridi, just admit it. And of course, the added bonus of Pit acting oblivious about it.

6: Luffy x Nami (LuNa)

No one is allowed to touch Luffy’s hat we’re made clear throughout the show, unless you’re Nami. Seriously, Luffy gives it to her numerous times himself and then there’s the fact he’s done a lot for her in the show. I could never forget how he carried her up a mountain with his frostbitten hands. Of course this Arlong Park where he wanted to kick Arlong’s ass just cause he made her cry.

7: Dipper x Pacifica (Dippica)

I don’t mean to sound condescending, but I was one of the earliest shippers to this pairing. I remember shipping them in season 1 and it was very obscure ship then. It got a bit of notice after Golf War and then became perhaps the biggest OTP of the fandom arguably after Northwest Mystery Mansion. I’m happy to see how far it’s come. They definitely clash off each other very well with matching assertiveness.

8: Rigby x Eileen (Rigleen)

This one reminds me a lot of Luigi x Daisy in that you knew they were going to be a couple and you’d just get excited whenever they gave you something no matter how small. I definitely love the progression this ship went throughout the duration of the show in a bit of reverse of what I said from before with the male being a tsundere here and the girl being adorkable. Now fast forward to the current season and it’s the most stable ship in the show. All hail Rigleen. My favorite episode of this couple is “Eileen’s Flat Screen”.

9: Ash x Serena (Amourshipping)

The ship that really snuck up on me, I just really grew to love this one, and it’s just so sweet. I really did appreciate their recent fight that Serena got Ash to realize who he really was and it wasn’t over something stupid like who’s a better trainer. For a while it was really cool that they were the first couple that seemingly never fought, but it turned out it was actually something that didn’t derail the ship and actually made it stronger. I know Serena is going to exit like the other Pokémon girls at the end of this season, but it’s certainly something that will always be remembered as a great ship.

10: Sokka x Suki (Sukka)

Sukka is perhaps the ship that felt more…smooth I guess compared to the rest of the ships in the show. Like nothing felt as really dragged or cliché about it. Whenever they were both on screen with each other it was always enjoyable.
